October 2010 — "I am so disappointed with UA. I booked back in August for a trip to Hawaii in February 2011. I am paying for a friend to accompany me. Her original flight was from Rochester to LA then on to Hawaii. I arranged my flight from Reno to meet up with her in LA so we could fly together. UA changed one of our schedules and it was unacceptable. So I changed both of our flights to leave Reno and return to Reno from Hawaii. It cost me $150 to do that although United airline caused us to change it. I also originally purchased Economy Plus seating and now I am told that money will not be transferred or refunded to my new flights (even though it isn't for 4 more months. ) I have called the 800 number several times and get India. The first two times I called, they were of no help and didn't understand what I was talking about. Then yesterday I called again, talked with a Indian female and she understood and told me she had added the Economy Plus to my new flights so I could go on line and select seats. YEA--- unfortunately, she DID NOT do that and the computer is still charging me additional $$ for Economy Plus and no refund for the previous. It appears that the Bottom Line is all that UA cares about, and there is no such thing as Customer Service anymore. I am so unhappy."
